If you are having problems with raising your new puppy and the vet says puppy is too young still for class, a single private session to deal with puppy issues may be the way to go.  Housebreaking (potty training), grooming, chewing, biting, jumping up...etc usually can be handled in a single in-home session for a young pup and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours the first session, we need extra time to assess the situation and get to know you. Follow up sessions are 1-1.25 hr. Look into a group training for $15 off on your single private session, or a series of private for more per session discount options!

The cost is $170 per session, within a 20 minute drive of Northridge, Woodland Hills, or Port Hueneme, CA.  Zoom is $99

BASICS/Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced Obedience

If you just need Basic obedience (sit, down, stay, come, wait, on your bed, heel, etc.), manners (walk nice, no jumping, no stealing, etc.), tricks, etc. - we teach you and your dog using positive reinforcement methods, then teach you daily practice exercises  *No extra charge for additional dogs in same household, up to three as long as you have additional handlers and we don’t require extra time. Usually need 1 hr, fee is $150 (first session expect to spend and additional 15-20 minutes so we can get to know you, no charge). Zoom is $84.

Yes, we help train Therapy dogs, Emotional support and Service dogs.

Yes, we can do Agility, Confirmation and Rally Obedience privately!

Yes, we can teach and test for all levels of AKC-CGC and STAR Pup, Tricks, and Urban Dog

BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS:

If you are experiencing problem behavior with an adult dog or puppy, such as house soiling, escaping, digging, chewing, excessive fear, fear biting, food guarding, toy guarding, separation anxiety, destructive behavior, or issues handling your dog, "dog to dog" aggression, sibling rivalry, etc. we can help you with that privately.  We specialize in problem behavior! Including human, and dog, aggression. The problems require more time and a very experienced trainer!

Depending on the issue, sometimes we can help you in a single session (usually 1.5 - 2 hrs. for the first session so we can get to know you, follow up is usually 1-1.25 hours). Private sessions are often followed by some group training.  If we feel you need multiple training sessions, we can give you an estimate of how many sessions we think it will take so you can purchase a package of sessions.  We base this on our experience with other dogs that have had similar issues, or on your progress after session one! The cost is $170 per session within 20 minutes of  Northridge, Woodland Hills, or Port Hueneme, CA. We will travel between Oxnard and Encino but there may be a travel fee outside of the 20 minute zones, usually $20 per extra 10 minutes. Zoom is $99

Telephone, Online or Video Meeting:

The least expensive PRIVATE training option is LIVE/ONLINE/VIDEO or Phone! IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OUR COVERAGE AREA, or while we are dealing with travel issues (like when there physical or health limitations, or any other time when we cannot get to you in person, THIS IS AN EXCELLENT WAY TO GO!

Live Online training for basic obedience is typically $84 per hour (extra 15 -25 min. required for first session, no charge). Behavior Modification is $99.  We are here for you and happy to help.  We do not recommend training by solely by Video or Phone, unless there is no other option, and, while you probably know your dog pretty well, you don't know dog behavior like we do! People often ask if we are 'psychic' because we can often tell you what your dog is thinking based on the behavior we observe ;-) !  We don't have that luxury on the phone and, unfortunately, that can cause misinterpretation because we are depending on your ability to translate your dog's body language, or responses to training techniques properly, BUT VIDEO OPTIONS ARE GREAT! For situations where it is something routine, we can often "get you thru the night" with a phone call!

Training Packages for you and your dog (4, 6 or 10 session):

If we can't help you in a single session, we may suggest a training package for better value.  You may choose a four, six or ten session package anywhere from $500-1,100 per package for Basics or $580-1,300 per package for Behavior Modification. Remember, once you have done a group class, or a minimum of a 4 session package with us, your follow up private sessions are $15 less than full price for a single session (we call it a package discount).

Intensive in-home training (25 sessions, we train without you for 20) (advance registration required)

One last option, we can come to you, daily four times a week for 5 weeks, and train your dog ... this includes once a week to train you and your family, and 3-4 sessions with your dog per week.   The same basic commands listed above, or specified by you.  We only do this for people within 5 miles of one of the trainers.  The cost for this is $2,700.00.  You don't even have to do the practicing with this one, just follow the maintenance instructions exactly!  Call to set up the first session. PRICE is quoted PER DOG . We can work out a discount for additional dogs in the same household who are being trained at the same time.   (25 sessions over 1-2 mos.)

On Board Training

On Board Training available at PAWPARAZZI in Chatsworth, or occasionally through one of our private trainers. PAWParazzi has daycare for young pups as well as dogs who may not be integrate-able into daycare but are crate trained, friendly with humans and that it includes enrichment activities. We can connect you if you are interested in this option. Otherwise, we do offer a 25 session package where the trainer comes to your home daily to work the dog and it is less stressful on the dog!
